Maybe you are grieving now, but when you see what He has for you, your tears will be replaced by laughter. That’s what Jesus was telling His disciples when He said„ “You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.” (John 16:20) What God wants to give you is always more than you impulsively grab for yourself. Thank Him for sometimes saying no… so that He can say yest to something more.
How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you. Psalm 31:19
I admit, I was afraid to love. Not just love, but to love her. For she was a stunning mystery. She carried things deep inside her that no one has yet to understand, and I, I was afraid to fail like the others.
